The Mobile Instagram Comment Deletion Guide
No matter if you made a comment that you now wish to retract or someone else left a comment on your post that you wish to remove, you can do it quickly and easily on Instagram.
Remember that you may only delete comments you have made or comments made on a post you have created. When editing a post that does not belong to you, you cannot remove comments left by other users.
Step 1: Launch Instagram on your mobile device and navigate to the post containing the unwanted comment.
Step 2: Select the speech bubble to view the threaded conversation about the post.
Step 3: Swipe the comment to the left and then hit the trash can symbol to delete it on an iPhone.
To delete a comment on an Android device, tap and hold it until a bar appears at the top of the screen, and then tap the trash can icon.

With a few clicks, you can remove undesirable comments from your Instagram feed regardless of whether you’re using the Instagram mobile app or a web browser.
Step 1: Launch Instagram on your computer and navigate to the post containing the unwanted comment.
Step 2: When you click the post, it will open in a new window along with any comments it has received.
Step 3: Simply move the mouse pointer over the remark you wish to delete and then click the ellipses (…) to the right of the comment.
Step 4: To dismiss the confirmation window, select Delete.
